There are really two places to eat: The bar area down stairs with its busy social scene, and a somewhat quieter upstairs restaurant.
The downstairs menu features bar food and appetizers (served until late):

The upstairs menu is slightly more upscale, and is more entree-oriented. There is usaully fresh fish, a couple of specials, and a wide selection of Southwestern specialties. There is also an all-you-can-eat salad bar that accompanies your dinner.
Besides the food, there is beer. Bacchus stocks an incredible inventory of bottled beer to the tune of about 250 types at any given time. There is also a good selection of beers on tap that change with the season.

The Bistro offers what could be called "Alternative Diner" fare. It ranges from great breakfasts of pancakes (request real maple syrup), omelette's, wraps (try the California X with fakin bacon) , to hearty lunches, sandwiches and dinner entrees. There's a large selection of vegetarian dishes (I like the veggie stir fry and Rhino Roll),and the soups are usually really good. They also do take out, and make great vegan peanut butter cookies.
